Abstract
"Along the Waterfront" piece on the 14-foot Piscataqua wherry being sold under the Bay of Maine Boats label by Michael Severance of Kennebunkport. The rowing-sailing craft is reproduced from the lines of an old skiff that Severance found ashore in Eliot in 1983. He also designed the 10-foot Kittery Point wherry with Douglas Martin of the famous Martin Marine rowing family, and Ted Perry, of East-West Custom Boats in Eliot.
