Abstract

"The Talk of Maine" piece on the Augusta-based "Uncle Henry's Weekly Swap or Sell It Guide," published by Justin Sutton and synonymous with Maine life. The guide was first published in 1969 in Rockland. Sutton's father bought it in 1983. With a weekly circulation of up to 70,000, it is in a league of its own. Despite the success of the magazine, which often sells out the day it hits the stands, Sutton avoids the spotlight.
