Abstract

"Dining Down East" piece on Maine native Norm Jabar and the three popular Portland restaurants he owns with several partners: Norm's East End Grill, Norm's Bar & Grill, and the Downtown Lounge. Jabar is down-to-earth and created the sort of reasonably-priced restaurants that serve excellent food that he was familiar with in Boston. His customer base is eclectic.
