Abstract

"Dining Down East" piece on One Fifty Ate in South Portland, a loose cooperative of chefs and bakers running a restaurant in what was once a boat builder's shed. The Neighborhood Bake House and Market at Willard Square is another of the group's cooperative ventures. Many of their simple and elegant dishes are based on their grandmothers' cooking, fine-tuned.
