"What's in a Picture?" piece on a 1940 fire that consumed Domhegan, Civil War general Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain's former summer estate on Simpson's Point in Brunswick. By the 1930s, Domhegan had passed to Chamberlain's daughter and remained largely vacant.
