Abstract

A (very short) survey of the bakeries in Maine that offer sufganiyot, the pillowy jelly donuts of Hanukkah. Victoria Nam's Siblings Bakery in Cumberland is one of them. Nam learned how to bake with sourdough during the pandemic shutdown and created a sourdough version of sufganiyot which she fills with apple butter.
