    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Midcoast & Downeast" piece briefly noting that Marden's Surplus & Salvage, a discount retailer with 10 stores in Maine, recently announced plans to open a new store in Ellsworth on the site of the town's former Ames department store. Marden's expects to open the store in September and to hire 80- to 100 part-time and full-time employees.
