Abstract

Doug Roberts, president of Foxboro, Mass.-based Naturally ME, is opening a new processing plant in Richmond to make frozen pies for people who are food-sensitive, capitalizing on a growing market. Roberts plans to buy as much fruit and other raw materials as possible from Maine growers. He bought the recipes and Natural Feast brand name from a Mass. company that went bankrupt and then created a contaminant-free facility in an older building at the Richmond Business and Manufacturing Center.
