Abstract

Letter to the editor from Sheldon Kaye, director of the Portland Public Library, and Mary Jo O'Connor, superintendent of the Portland Public Schools, in response to a March 24 letter ("City should guard plans for Munjoy library branch"). Kaye and O'Conner emphasize that there is no plan to eliminate the Munjoy Hill branch, and that there are plans to move the branch into the new East End School and to integrate the school library and the public library there.
