    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Midcoast & Down East" piece reporting that a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge recently approved a reorganization plan from the Downeast Heritage Museum in Calais, and cleared it to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. The museum filed for bankruptcy last year to relieve about $3.2 million debt owed mostly to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, the agency that provided financing to the museum when it opened in 2004.
