    Abstract

"Business Maine: Midcoast & Downeast" piece on a recent study that concludes a racino proposed in Calais by the Passamaquoddy Tribe would generate as much as $13 million in slot machine revenue per year. The report by Todd Gabe, an associate economics professor at the University of Maine in Orono, does not weigh in on whether the racino is a good or bad idea for Washington County. Maine voters will decide whether to allow a racino in Washington County in a November referendum.
