Abstract
Inmate members of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People at the Maine State Prison in Thomaston asked the Legislature's Corrections Committee to consider a parole plan that would have paroled inmates contributing to the costs of their supervision. A parole bill introduced in the Legislature this year is expected to be considered by that body in January. Details.
