Abstract

Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) has beat the bids of 15 other power companies to win the 10-year contract to supply electricity to the Kennebunk Light and Power District. CMP lowered electric rates for the district to retain it as a customer, which will mean Kennebunk Light's 4,500 customers will see their rates decrease by at least 12 percent. Details.
