Abstract

A lawsuit filed November 19 in Cumberland County Superior Court seeks unspecified damages from nine Westbrook police officers and Chief Ronald Allanach for using excessive force in breaking up a 1991 Christmas party at the apartment of Gregory Kenney and Georgia Hanaman. The partygoers were taken to the county jail after a scuffle ensued, and although charges of obstructing government administration and disorderly conduct were filed the case was never prosecuted.
