Abstract

Portland has qualified for a $368,000 federal Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act grant that will allow it to build a 30-acre waterfront park and 3-mile walking path around the Eastern Promenade. The grant will be used to design the park and build the first part of a trail which will eventually link the Old Port with the Back Cove path. Details.
