Abstract

Maine Department of Transporation Commissioner Dana F. Connors this month transferred some of Augusta's transportation planning authority to eight Regional Transporation Advisory Committees, comprising 170 people from across the state. The committees were formed under the authority of the Sensible Transportation Policy Act, which was approved by Maine voters in 1991. Details, list of Region 6 (Cumberland County) appointees.
