Abstract
Maine poultry farmers have an estimated $16 million in egg exports at stake in the latest round of negotiations on the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, currently being held in Geneva. Some observers believe the GATT talks will affect the American economic scene more than the North American Free Trade Agreement. Maine industries likely to be affected include forest products, computer technology and electronic components. Details.
