Abstract

The Lewiston School Committee on Monday voted 6-2 to reverse a previous decision that honored Linda Lafrance's request that her daughter not be rescusitated if she go into cardiac arrest. A spokesman with the U.S. Department of Education's civil rights division confirmed that a complaint had been filed against the school committee, which prompted the reversal of the do-not-rescusitate order.
