Abstract

A Federal Aviation Administration informational hearing on the proposed Bruce Hill aviation radar tower in North Yarmouth drew some 30 residents, many of whom voiced concerns about the tower's unsightliness and potential emissions of radiation. Some residents asked the FAA to donate the unused portions of the 80-acre parcel to a land conservation trust, but an FAA official said that would not be possible.
