Abstract

A drive begun two years ago to make the Gray Game Farm self-supporting will not only help the state-run facility survive the current budget crisis but may allow the farm's animals to move into more comfortable quarters and out from under the state's authority. The facility collected admission fees in 1991 and 1992 which were put into a dedicated fund, and that fund will be used to reduce the state's costs beginning in July.
