Abstract

Central Maine Power Co. on Wednesday reduced its quarterly dividend from 39 cents a share to 22.5 cents a share, the first time it has cut its common stock dividend in four years. The move is part of a reduction plan instituted after the Public Utilities Commission granted only $26 million of a requested $83 million rate hike.
