Abstract
Portland plans to close the brick tomb at Forest City Cemetery, which for years has been used to house the deceased waiting to be buried in area cemeteries that do not perform winter burials. Portland, which has done winter burials for years at its two currently active cemeteries, decided to halt storing caskets at the tomb when it realized the scope of repairs required at the structure.
