Jerry Genesio, the head of Portland-based Veterans for Peace, was returning home Tuesday after a relief operation to Bosnia-Herzegovina involving at least 25 children. It was the first time that anyone from the 4,200-member group took part in an operation in a war zone. Details, related article.
