Abstract

A plan that would have infused needed capital into John Roberts, the employee-owned apparel maker in Biddeford, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization, on yesterday was objected to in U.S. bankruptcy court by a lawyer representing suppliers and other creditors. Under the proposal, the Finance Authority of Maine and Apparel Management Group would lend the company an additional $150,000 to keep it operating. Details.
