Abstract

The Portland City Council's public safety committee is considering a plan which would eliminate the left turn from southbound Franklin Street onto eastbound Marginal Way. Officials say the intersection is dangerous, with a reported 31 accidents this year, but business owners on the eastern portion of Marginal Way believe the move would make it difficult for customers to get to their stores.
