Abstract

U.S. District Judge Morton A. Brody has disqualified Portland lawyers Richard E. Poulos and Daniel G. Lilley from a $21 million civil lawsuit stemming from the bankruptcy of Consolidated Auto Recyclers Inc. of East Vassalboro. The two lawyers have asked an appeals court in Boston to clarify the order on which the disqualification was based. Poulos and Lilley were defending the three owners of Consolidated Auto in a lawsuit brought by Allied Capital, which is trying to recover $4.5 million it invested in the company. Details.
