Abstract

Paul French, lead guitarist for the Portland-based rock group The Whigs, wears special ear plugs to prevent the hearing loss that is affecting an increasing number of rock musicians and others who work in the music business. Bob Ludwig, owner of Gateway Mastering Studios Inc. in Portland, is another music industry person aware of and concerned about the damage that loud music can cause one's hearing. Details.
