Abstract

Some 10,000 Girl Scouts between the ages of 6 and 17 from ten counties in central and southern Maine will begin taking cookie orders today. The cookie drive provides 60 percent of the Kennebec Council's operating budget, and council officials are projecting 1994 sales of 743,000 boxes at $3 each.
