Abstract

The College Conservation Corps of Maine, now in its second year, employs young people at low wages for outdoor community service jobs, and gives them a full year of tuition-free college after a year of service. Corps members do outdoors projects full-time during vacations and part-time during school, and earn admission to Unity College for one year. Details.
