Abstract

Jeff Libby, currently being held in segregation at the Maine Correctional Institution in Warren, has filed a commutation petition, saying his life is in jeopardy because of testimony he gave in several murder cases. Libby is serving a 60-year prison sentence for the 1986 slaying of his granfather, and has asked that the sentence be commuted to 20 years.
