Abstract

Robert E. Cote of Westbrook and Yvette M. Cote of Gorham have filed suit in Cumberland County Superior Court against Brian L. Datson, a lawyer who the Cotes say committed legal malpractice and fraud. The couple, who separated in June 1991, won $1.4 million in a Florida lottery in 1989, and claim that Datson's bad advice has left them broke and in debt. Details.
