Abstract

Gov. McKernan met with Passamaquoddy Indian leaders and California developer Sidney Unobskey yesterday to discuss a proposed gambling casino in Calais. Unobskey, a Calais native who owns businesses in that town, is a friend and political supporter of McKernan who has agreed to work with the Passamaquoddies on the casino project. Details.
