Abstract

Maine Transportation Commissioner Dana Connors yesterday said the state expects to spend $200 million on bridge and road projects next year, more than twice the $93 million in contracts advertised last year. The regular program of federally assisted highway projects will account for $80 million of the total, while bridge projects in Portland, Brunswick and Waterville make up the remainder. Details.
