Abstract

Three migrant workers at DeCoster Egg Farms in Turner have filed suit in Androscoggin County Superior Court against their employer, claiming they frequently worked more than 40 hours per week but were not paid overtime wages -- State overtime laws do not apply to farm workers or those who process agricultural products, and the lawyer for DeCoster said that all of the company's employees are involved in agricultural work and are therefore exempt from overtime pay -- Details
