Boothbay Region High School has 133 students involved in winter sports, or more than 55 percent of the school's 238 students -- A Maine Principal's Association survey conducted last summer showed around 12,000 of the 60,000 high school students in the state participated in basketball, swimming and wrestling last year, for a participation rate in those sports of 20 percent Boothbay school officials are not certain why their students are so active in winter sports -- Details
