Abstract

Borden Inc. has agreed to sell the former Snow Food Products clam chowder factory at Pine Point in Scarborough to an unidentified restaurant equipment dealer from southern Maine. Half of the 90,000-square-foot facility, which has been vacant since 1990, will be used by the buyer for warehousing and operations, with the remainder to be rented out to tenants. The factory had employed around 130 people when Borden moved operations to New Jersey. Details.
