Central Maine Power Co yesterday announced that it will close its businesses offices in Biddeford and Newcastle and layoff 42 employees in a continuing effort to cut costs -- The utility will also scale back 6 of its 15 business offices, with all actions resulting in a $2 million reduction in annual costs
