Abstract
Some Portland officials want The Cage, an after hours dance club in the Old Port that stays open until 3:00 o'clock in the morning, to require people to stop dancing by 1:15 AM and close by 2:00 AM -- The officials do not argue that there has been any trouble at the seven-week-old club, but say it may not be so peaceful come the summer tourist crowds -- Owners of The Cage contend that an ordinance requiring them to close early would ruin their $200,000 invesment -- The Cage allows no drinking and no patrons younger than 18 years old
