Abstract

Farrington's Clothing & Footware of Brewer is closing its downtown Portland store due to poor sales -- The store opened 15 months ago, and in that time a number of different businesses have closed in the area, with the biggest departure taking place three months ago when the Portland 5 & 10 closed its doors -- Some business owners are hoping that things will change when the Maine College of Art moves into the old Porteous building and brings students to the area between Brown Street and Congress Square -- Details
