Abstract

Farmington police have charged Steven B. Rodgers, 27, of Rangeley with two counts of aggravated operating under the influence of alcohol in connection with the vehicular deaths of George and Charlene Bachelder, who died after their car was struck from behind by Rodgers and was then thrown into the patch of a third vehicle. The accident took place yesterday in front of the Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. The victims were in their seventies and lived in Rumford.
