Abstract

Five University of Maine at Orono athletes in five sports have been found to be in violation of National Collegiate Athletic Association player-eligibility rules, leading the university to suspend Athletic Director Mike Ploszek for one week without pay and to remove Linwood C Carville as the university's NCAA compliance officer -- The NCAA has not yet taken action on the violations, but could rule that all games and meets that the offending players participated in must be forfeited -- Details
