Abstract

Hannaford Bros of Scarborough has reached an agreement with Scientific-Atlanta Inc of Georgia to create a $23 million, 100-site satellite network to link the company's headquarters with Shop 'n Save stores throughout the Northeast -- The system will save the company around $500,000 annually in telephone charges, and will allow it to keep current with inventory levels and pricing information and complete credit and debit transactions -- Details
