Abstract

Officials of the McKernan administration yesterday raised -- estimates of next year's revenue collections by nearly $13 million Their proposal that half of the additional revenue be set aside to support the governor's plan to cut income taxes by 20 percent and that the other half be used to pay for the consent decrees involving the departments of Mental Health and Human Services and for various educational programs met with skepticism from Democratic legislators
