Abstract

Janice Zeman, an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Maine, has concluded that it is alright for parents to pamper their children when ill, provided they are not excessive about it -- Too much pampering can turn children into hypochondriacs -- Zeman's conclusions are contained in a study called "Parental Response to Child Illness Behavior"
