Banking analysts say that Fleet Financial Group's announcement that it will cut 5,500 jobs as part of a company restructuring will put pressure on the other billion-dollar banks operating in Maine to do the same -- Fleet's primary competition in Maine comes from Casco Northern Bank, a division of Bank of Boston; Key Bank of Maine, a division of Keycorp of Cleveland; and Peoples Heritage Group of Portland
