Abstract

George M Elwell, 44, of Union, who was fired from his job as janitor at Union Elementary School after he was accused of having sexual contact with a number of male students, has been indicted on nine counts of sexual assault and three counts of unlawful sexual contact -- School officials were notified that lawyers for a Union parent have filed a lawsuit in Knox County Superior Court against School Administrative District 40, which includes Union, alleging that the school district, the school and its employees were negligent for allowing the sexual contact to take place -- Details
