Abstract

George Jordan Jr., 48, of South Portland, was dressed in combat fatigues and pointing a loaded, pump-action shotgun at police when he was shot on Sunday. Jordan is being held on charges of criminal threatening and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, and the state Attorney General's Office is investigating whether the shooting of Jordan by police was justified.
