Abstract

If the city of South Portland receives the expected $13 million increase in state aid for education, and the municipal and school budgets pass as now proposed, the city tax rate could drop from the present $1960 per $1,000 valuation to $1930, while allowing the restoration of some services eliminated during the past few years
