Abstract

Seven of the eight Republican gubernatorial candidates gathered for a breakfast sponsored by the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce yesterday in Waterville, and all seemed to agree that former governor Joseph E. Brennan is responsible for the state's economic troubles. Mary Adams of Garland was the only Republican who has announced for the race that didn't attend. Details.
