Former U.S. senator and secretary of state Edmund S. Muskie will celebrate his 80th birthday on Monday, and plans to spend the day in Maine. Muskie works full-time at a law firm in Washington, D.C., and vacations at his Kennebunk home several weeks each year. He will address a joint session of the Legislature in Augusta today.
